About Nichole
Twenty years behind the chair. A lifetime at the root.
Twenty years behind the chair taught me how to hear what people weren't saying.
For two decades, I sat behind a salon chair and became the person people told the truth to.
Not the polished version.
The real version.
Between appointments, conversations would turn into confessions. Relationships. Betrayals. Family dynamics. Resentment. Anxiety. The argument they kept having. The thing they couldn't stop doing. The reason they kept pulling away—or chasing harder.
And eventually, I started noticing something:
The reaction was rarely the root.
People weren't broken. They were often responding from patterns they had learned long before they realized they were patterns.
Today, I bring that same ability to listen beneath the surface into my work as an emotional intelligence coach and educator, combined with my education in psychology.
I help teens, adults, and couples slow down the reaction, recognize what is happening underneath it, and develop a different way forward—with more clarity, self-awareness, connection, and confidence.
That work can show up anywhere:
In your relationships.
In conflict.
At work.
In the way you communicate.
In the way you lead.
And in the way you understand yourself.
My approach is psychology-grounded, practical, and focused on what you can actually do differently—not simply what you can understand intellectually.
For those who want it, faith can be part of the conversation. Scripture, prayer, and faith-informed reflection are available—but never required. You choose what belongs in your coaching experience.
This is coaching and education—not therapy, counseling, or clinical care. We focus on awareness, goals, patterns, communication, and practical tools you can begin using in real life.
And if what you're facing calls for clinical support, I'll tell you that honestly.
Because the goal isn't to keep you dependent on coaching.
It's to help you understand yourself well enough to move differently.

The ROOT Framework
How I work with every client
Recognize the reaction
Name what happens in your body and your words before you have language for it.
Observe the pattern
Trace where the same reaction keeps showing up — and what tends to set it off.
Open to what is underneath
Notice the belief, assumption, fear, or meaning that may be shaping the pattern.
Transform the response
Practice a different response you can return to in everyday life.
